Megan Krench

Megan Krench is a doctoral researcher in Troy Littleton’s lab at MIT. Meg uses fruit flies (Drosophila) to study polyglutamine disorders, including Huntington’s Disease and Huntington’s disease-like 2. She created the first Drosophilamodel of Huntington’s disease-like 2 and is currently characterizing causes of cellular dysfunction in those flies. When she graduates, Meg will be working for CBT Advisors, a biotech-focused consulting firm in Cambridge, MA. Meg also enjoys teaching at Boston area colleges, including her Neuroscience and Criminal Justice course offered at Tufts University.
